Overview:
As a Retail Supervisor, you will operate several retail locations by delegating, training and communicating effectively with leads, and host/hostess in cleaning, stocking, and other day-to-day responsibilities, which assure efficient and appealing store function. This position is accountable for delivering a superior Guest experience, while enforcing all park policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee various merchandise locations throughout the park
• Assist Leads with operation, stock or shop upkeep
• Store staffing: Communicate schedules, breaks and adjust staff to attendance
• Ensure safety and efficiency of team members by performing daily inspections of stands
• Inventory control, monitor and correct incorrect UPC usage, control damage, and assist leads in their inventory control duties
• Train and Develop Retail Leads
• Perform additional special tasks as instructed by Full-Time Management
• Ensure all Park standards of Quality, Cleanliness, Service, and Growth are met or exceeded regardless of time or department boundaries
• These are basic job functions for this position and they may increase or decrease within a season to help the Department run more effectively. This position must be flexible and multitask oriented. All task assigned must be done in a timely manner because this position is depended upon by others.
• Promote the sale of products with impeccable guest service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Strive to continuously gain knowledge of product offerings and the Six Flags brand.
• Resolve Guest concerns that may arise on a daily basis.
• Assist in training, motivating and coaching of staff on a day to day basis to ensure team quality standards.
• Assist in ensuring that all policies and procedures pertinent to area are followed.
• Ensure that image, cleanliness and courtesy standard requirements are met including abiding by and enforcing the company dress code policy and set high standards of performance for all areas within their responsibilities.
• Maintain proper attendance and timeliness.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Age: 16
• Must be able to work outdoors or in extreme heat, cold, sun, humidity, including temperatures below freezing.
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Time Management skills
• Must have strong teamwork skills, Guest Service skills, and the ability to work with others
• Able to effectively communicate product needs, ideas to increase sales, and any operational needs within each location to their direct Supervisor and other members of management on the Team in a timely manner.
• Must possess good visual merchandising skills
• Departmental Training, cashiers training
• Able to multitask & adapt well to change.
• One Year Retail Lead experience preferred
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the essential job duties.
• Must be able to walk, stand, sit, lift, and carry up to 30lbs
