Job Type Full-time Description Spartan Logistics is a third-party logistics (3PL) company headquartered in Columbus, OH. We specialize in a unique logistics model: We own and operate our own warehouses, fleet, forklifts, and other key equipment. We have decades of experience in fast-moving inventory, especially food and beverages, and also are veteran handlers of glass, paper, automotive supplies, and more. With our staff of more than 350, we operate over 4 million square feet of warehouse space strategically placed throughout Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky and Texas. We are looking for a Forklift Operator with warehouse production experience. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your primary responsibility is for effective coordination of inbound and outbound warehousing movements, while accurately and efficiently picking customer orders. You must be a responsible individual with experience in driving industrial equipment. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. Because of the high-value inventory, character and integrity will not be compromised. This position will stay until the job is done correctly. * Detail oriented. * Shipping/receiving/warehousing experience using a handheld scanner. * 1 year of forklift experience is required. * Must wear steel-toed boots and adhere to all safety requirements. You must frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs. * Class A CDL is a plus, but not required.
