HiFyve is hiring a CMM Programmer in the manufacturing industry in Woodbury, MN!

Salary: $27–$35+/hr

Shift: Day Shift M-F

Location: Woodbury, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS software to perform dimensional inspections on complex components
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet applicable specifications
• Conduct final inspections including dimensional verification, visual checks, and documentation review
• Carry out first article inspections, including creation of bubble diagrams and inspection forms (AS9100 or customer-specific formats)
• Identify and document non-conformances, segregate/tag NCMs, and communicate findings to relevant personnel or customers
• Scan and file quality records accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in inspection labs and with inspection equipment
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of metrology tools and lab equipment
• Support plant personnel by interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional technical training or certifications in inspection/metrology preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
• Skilled in inspecting various thread types, including screw, pipe, and British threads
• Familiar with post-processes such as heat treating, plating, and part marking
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical inspection
• Proficient in using hand tools (OD, blade, pitch micrometers, height gages)
• Experience programming or operating a CMM using PC-DMIS software
• Experience with vision systems such as OGP or Keyence
• Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) is a plus
