Company Information

Our client, a fast-growing digital health technology company headquartered in San Francisco, is seeking an Interim Senior Manager of Procurement to support their team during a parental leave. The role offers a unique opportunity to lead high-impact procurement initiatives, including major software renewals and vendor negotiations. This is a hybrid position, with the expectation to be onsite in downtown San Francisco 1-2 days per week. Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic procurement advisor to stakeholders across the organization.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage large-scale software renewals and RFPs (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, GitHub, Google).
• Oversee procurement operations within the Zip platform and manage a Procurement Specialist.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security, Privacy, and Finance to ensure compliance and optimize spend.
• Maintain and develop vendor relationships to secure favorable terms.
• Educate internal teams on procurement best practices and system usage.
• Track and analyze spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in procurement or vendor management roles.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing large software contracts.
• Experience with procurement systems (Zip preferred) and managing direct reports.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
