Job Title: Investment Management Bookkeeper.Location: Newton, MA.Job Type: Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Company: Boylston Staffing.60K-75K depending on Experience Boylston Staffing is seeking an experienced Investment Management Bookkeeper for a reputable investment management firm located in Newton, MA. This position offers a Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire opportunity for the right candidate and includes excellent benefits upon permanent placement - 100% employer-paid medical coverage for individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain third-party property management accounts.
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable, including chargebacks to tenant accounts.
• Perform monthly closing of management owners' accounts.
• Record tenant move-ins and move-outs.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain financial documentation.
• Review and interpret financial reports.
• Work independently to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience in investment or property management.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures with high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with commercial property management and a basic understanding of lease agreements.
• Proficiency in Sage (Timberline) or similar property management software.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent professional references.
