The Role:  AMD is looking for a Sr. HR Advisor to join our HR team located in Austin. This hybrid role will focus on Data Reporting and Program Management. The position is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data, managing projects, and supporting Human Resource Business Partners to ensure programs are executed with operational excellence. 

The Person:  The ideal candidate will have strong consultative skills to provide insights using HR data, policies, and strategies. This individual should be highly organized, solutions-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Analyze and manage large data sets and present findings to drive action. 

  • Develop executive summaries for leadership. 

  • Identify trends and insights from data analytics to support HR and business strategies. 

  • Manage the planning and implementation of cyclical HR programs (e.g., Performance Management, Rewards Planning, Talent Planning, Engagement Surveys). 

  • Prepare program structures, timelines, and communications for key stakeholders. 

HR Generalist Responsibilities: 

Support and consult with management and HR Business Partners on HR programs and initiatives including compensation planning, organization effectiveness, change management, leadership development, talent and performance management, and employee relations. 

  • Coach managers on people's tools, policies, and procedures to maximize performance and ensure compliance. 

  • Contribute to functional and cross-functional HR initiatives. 

  • Provide input on HR policy development in partnership with Centers of Excellence and other key functions. 

  • Share best practices and promote continuous improvement within the HR team. 

Preferred Experience: 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present data-driven insights. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors). 

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities. 

  • HR Generalist background with experience in a consultative role. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels. 

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently. 

  • High attention to detail and quality in execution is needed. 

Academic Credentials: 

Bachelor's degree in HR or a related discipline from an accredited university.
