HR Coordinator Location: Raleigh, NC Company: SMT, Inc. (Sheet Metal Fabrication)

SMT, Inc., a leader in precision sheet metal fabrication, is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable HR Coordinator to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This in-office position plays a vital role in supporting the daily functions of our Human Resources department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees
• Assist with recruiting, including posting job ads and conducting phone interview screenings
• Support employees with benefit enrollments and address benefit-related questions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files
• Perform data entry related to HRIS, timekeeping, and benefits systems
• Assist with various HR administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an HR support role preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Paylocity is a plus
