As a Finance Associate at REDW, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring that every transaction is accurately recorded and effectively managed. You'll play a crucial role in delivering high quality financial services that support the smooth functioning of our daily operations. By working closely with our team members and service providers, you'll help drive the financial success of REDW with efficiency and expertise. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Accounts Payable
- Process Accounts Payable-validate bills have been entered correctly into AP software, following internal controls to ensure bills are accurate, valid and submit for approval
- Follow-up with approvers weekly to ensure bills are approved timely
- Enter billable expenses into billing software
- Process Expense Reports and credit card reports, ensuring accurate coding and Department Head approval
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Accounts Receivable
- Post daily deposits timely and accurately
- Research deposit activity to ensure payment posted to correct client and invoice
- Research deposits that are not applied to an invoice and reach out to appropriate team member
- Research AR activity as needed/requested
- Enter journal entries in GL system
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Calculate NM GRT and Tribal taxes, prepare returns as required
- Seek out opportunities to problem solve including identifying the issue, coming up with solutions, implementing those solutions, as well as evaluating their effectiveness
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proven ability to work in a digital, paperless work environment effectively leveraging technology.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and stress management skills, ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of tasks; handle competing priorities and deadlines, prioritize, and have a flexible and positive approach to completing work.
- Ability to improve processes for efficiencies, while maintaining internal controls.

- Ability to handle confidential and proprietary business information.
- Ability to complete all tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat).
- Proficient working knowledge expense reporting software (i.e. Concur, Expensify), GL software (i.e. Sage 100, Sage Intacct).
- Proven knowledge and ability to work with remote / virtual office tools; i.e. teams, video conferencing and other digital software.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree in related field, Accounting, Business or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ Finance experience in a similar environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance (Preferred)
