The Property Manager and Administrative Assistant will play a dual role in our organization, combining property management responsibilities with administrative support. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties and providing critical support to our management team.

Key Responsibilities:Property Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of residential properties.
  • Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and renovations, ensuring high standards of quality and timely completion.
  • Manage tenant relations, including handling inquiries, complaints, and lease renewals.
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and lease agreements.
  • Prepare and manage property budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting financial performance.
  • Collect rent, handle tenant disputes, and coordinate evictions as necessary.
  • Market and lease vacant units, ensuring minimal downtime and competitive occupancy rates.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of leases, property deeds, and insurance policies.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the real estate investment team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing communications.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials for investors and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for company executives.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
  • Assist with the organization of company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in property management and/or administrative roles within the real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of property management practices, including tenant relations, maintenance, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Familiarity with real estate laws and regulations.
