This position is responsible for a wide array of activities and services related to systems development and management, including but not limited to design, analysis, security, support and maintenance of the California Public Safety Microwave Network (CAPSNET) Core Infrastructure. This position independently performs systems administration, analysis, management, and client support; implements security control utilizing industry tools/standards, best practices, frameworks, and technologies. This role will also serve as a project manager and server administrator, responsible for overseeing the network project requests from client engineering units (CEU). This position performs duties within the Business Technology Management, Client Services, System Engineering and Information Security Engineering domains.You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement.
Working Conditions
Telework - This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule which includes up to two days of remote work per week. Additional in office days may be required based on the business need.
