Full time Administrative Assistant needed at a well-established Tax and Business Management Firm in Century City. We are seeking a friendly, organized and detail-oriented professional to join our already amazing admin team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, can work independently and in a team environment, and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This is an in-office position with a standard work week of 37.50 hours. You should expect 5-10 hours of paid overtime for eight weeks of the year, primarily during March, April, September, and October.
Responsibilities:
- General administrative support to the partners, managers and of the firm as needed
- Tax return assembly
- Client billing communications and accounts receivable follow up communications
- Assist in tax and business management workflow
- General office tax and business management operations assistance
- Sorting, scanning and distributing mail and tax documents
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of tax documents and client information
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax administration or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
- Familiarity with tax software and electronic filing systems and knowledge of ProSystems and CCH Axcess is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team while manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
