Position Overview: The HR Compliance Analyst will be an integral member of the HR Department. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources and be a member of the HR Operations team. This role has two overarching goals. The first is to ensure a seamless transition of new hires and rehires as they navigate through the onboarding & offboarding processes. This also includes the oversight of field management who hire hourly workers to ensure compliance with hiring policies, accuracy and quality. The second goal of this role is to ensure federal, state and internal HR operational compliance is consistent & accurate according to internal policies and with federal and state applicable laws. This position is also a key contributor in implementing HR initiatives and immersed in day-to-day operations around talent management, onboarding, offboarding employment engagement, rewards & perks. The HR Compliance Analyst also supports RSC functions as an advocate to support and grow the business by managing human resources activities in all areas of employment practices which also include providing support in employee relations, policies and regulations while working to minimize organizations legal liabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day processes related to onboarding, offboarding and change management.
  • Ensure compliance of employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Monitors compliance with applicable Federal, State and local laws as well as regulations from other applicable agencies, notifies managers of potential issues and proposes corrective action
  • People analytics & reporting
  • Prepare official HR correspondence and manage internal communication process
  • Assist HR Management with store openings, acquisitions, and closures
  • Assist Talent Acquisition with recruiting and staffing
  • Facilitates the processes that support various functional areas within Human Resources
  • Manages the Employee Survey Tool and Processes, along with benchmark reporting.
  • Subject Matter Expert with the Recruiting, Onboarding and Survey platforms

  • Gathers, compiles and analyzes data and metrics from human resources information systems (HRIS) environments and databases. Identifies anomalies, inconsistencies, and irregularities in analyzed data and conveys findings to appropriate partners for correction or further investigation.

  • Strong in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Qualifications

  • Preferred degree In Human Resources Management, Business (or related subject)
  • 1-2 years experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in project management, talent management, restaurant industry, onboarding, offboarding, employee record management, HR systems, analysis, reporting & compliance
